November has a special way of reminding us to slow down and notice the blessings God places in our everyday lives.

Sometimes those blessings are big and unmistakable. Other times, they're found in the simplest moments—a conversation around the kitchen table, a visit from grandchildren, a warm cup of coffee, or the opportunity to welcome someone into our home.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I've been thinking about how easy it is to overlook those little gifts.
